I was saddened at the news of an ambush by armed men, which led to the death of some security personnel on duty at Umuezeala Owerre in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.  I have visited the scene of the crime, this barbaric act is unacceptable and I have directed for a collaborative effort amongst the security units for justice.  However, I assured our people not to exercise any fear of reprisal attack or hostility, even as I appeal for cooperation from the community.  Ndi Imo nwe'm, let's not be dismayed by this, as it does not in any way unbalance our ongoing campaign against criminality and its associated vices in our dear State.  Let us be rest assured that we will track those behind this heinous crime and bring them to book.   Once more, I commiserate with the security agencies whose men were involved in the ugly incident.  The Government will provide every necessary support to ensure that all officers and men of our security agencies a

Justice Mohammed Magudu, in a ruling on Monday, ordered that Njoku and his co-defendant, Chukwuemeka Nwoga be remanded in the Suleja prison. A factional leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Edozie Njoku has been sent to prison, according to TheNation. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Bwari ordered Njoku and one other be remanded in prison over their alleged complicity in the forgery of a judgment of the Supreme Court. Justice Mohammed Magudu, in a ruling on Monday, ordered that Njoku and his co-defendant, Chukwuemeka Nwoga be remanded in the Suleja prison in Niger State until November 30 when he would rule on their bail application. Their lawyer, Panam Ntui had argued their bail application shortly after they pleaded not guilty to a 14-count charge filed in the name of the Inspector General of Police (IGP). Prosecuting lawyer, Rimamsomte Ezekiel, objected to the bail application, arguing that the offences with which the defendants were charge
